Terms of Use

KRATEO DJ is free software. Use it, enjoy it, make better sets with it. Just don't resell it, reverse-engineer it, or pretend you made it. That's it.

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use KRATEO DJ for personal, non-commercial purposes. The software is free — no payment is required to use the core product.

This license does not transfer any ownership of the software or its source code to you.

All rights to the KRATEO software, its code, design, brand, and content belong to Lorenz Kolb. The name "KRATEO", the logo, and all associated materials are protected by copyright and trademark law.

Your music library, your data, your sets — those are yours. We don't claim any rights to your content.

KRATEO DJ is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee availability, accuracy, functionality, or compatibility with your system.

Specifically: no guarantee for audio timing accuracy, data persistence, or uninterrupted operation. Use the software at your own risk. Back up your data.

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the software. For the free tier, that's zero. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, or any consequential damages arising from the use of KRATEO.

You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute KRATEO DJ or modified versions of it. You may not use the KRATEO brand or logo without permission.

We may update these terms at any time. If we do, the updated version will be posted here. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Place of jurisdiction is Munich.
