## KRATEO DJ

KRATEO DJ is a free desktop app (Mac and Windows) that helps DJs prepare for gigs and sharpen their skills using their own music library. It imports tracks directly from rekordbox, including BPM, genre, key, and playlists.

KRATEO DJ trains the two skills that separate prepared DJs from nervous ones: knowing your BPM by ear, and knowing your tracks cold.

- **BPM Trainer**: Two tracks play simultaneously. The DJ identifies which one is faster. This builds the tempo intuition that vinyl and CDJ DJs rely on during live sets. Practicing with your own tracks means the skill transfers directly to gig situations.
- **Track Memory**: A snippet plays, and you pick the correct track from four options. This trains instant recognition of tracks in your crate, so you can make confident selections under pressure on stage.
- **Speed Challenge**: 10 seconds per question, points based on reaction time. Simulates the real-time decision pressure of a live set.
- **Cover Puzzle**: Match album covers to track names while music plays. Trains visual and audio recall together.

KRATEO DJ is designed as direct preparation for DJ sets. Instead of generic exercises, you train with the exact tracks you will play.
